Singer-songwriter Priscilla Renea has released her sophomore album, Coloured.
The country-inspired album, which was recorded in Nashville, is described as “a fierce, political, and personal collection of stories that reckon with Priscilla’s childhood in rural Florida, sublime love, violent heartbreak and racial trauma.”
Coloured includes previously released songs “Let’s Build a House” and “Family Tree.” Ahead of the new project, Renea released a dual cinematic visual for “Gentle Hands” and “Heavenly.”
Coloured, the follow-up to 2009’s Jukebox, features production and writing contributions from Honorable C.N.O.T.E, Ashley Gorley, Curtis “Sauce” Wilson, Kevin Kadish, Theron Feemster and Brett James.
