Ella Mai is ready to prove to the world that she’s more than a one-hit wonder. The British songbird follows up her smash hit “Boo’d Up” with a brand new single called “Trip.”
On the ride-along track, Mai tries to keep her heartstrings intact over a “too good to be true” lover but can’t help but ‘trip’ over her own emotions.
Mai shared the personal message behind her single “Trip” in a video diary entry. “Sometimes we misinterpret. Sometimes we don’t understand. Sometimes we make mistakes. It doesn’t always make sense at the time, but it’s all a life lesson,” she explained.
On August 6, Mai will launch her Boo’d Up Tour in Dallas at The Cambridge Room at House Of Blues.
