As we gear up for cuffing season, Marsha Ambrosius releases a bedroom-ready song called “Flood.” Over a luscious and smooth production, Ambrosius coos about an electrifying lovemaking experience with her man.
“You’re all I need internally / Just let the rain come on down on my window / Now we’re safe and sound underneath these pillows / Baby, just let it flood,” she sings.
“Flood” is the third offering from Ambrosius’ upcoming album, Nyla, which drops via Human Resources/Entertainment One (eOne) on September 28. The lubricated tune follows the album’s lead single “Old Times,” which is No. 17 on Billboard’s Adult R&B Songs Chart, and “Luh Ya.” Nyla is named after Ambrosius’ daughter. The album will follow her 2014 project, Friends & Lovers, which debuted at No. 12 on the Billboard 200.
To support her new album, Ambrosius will join Maxwell on his 50 Intimate Nights Tour, which begins on September 27 in Richmond, Va. The tour will be making stops in Chicago, Atlanta, Charlotte, Memphis, Orlando, St. Louis and more.
