The verdict is in. J. Holiday has been ordered to do “25 to Life” on his new comeback single.
On the Milk + Sizz-produced joint, the D.C. native is ready to do hard time if it means getting back on the good side of his one and only.
“Put me in solitary, so no one else can break in / You know I’m too dangerous out here with everyone else,” he sings. “Breakin’ hearts, it’s too late and you already know / And I’m guilty as charged.”
“25 to Life” is the lead single from his forthcoming album Time. The LP will mark Holiday’s first studio effort since 2014’s Guilty Conscience, which debuted at No. 24 on Billboard’s R&B Albums chart.
