Jacob Banks is playing no games with his rollout for his upcoming debut album, Village, due on November 2. The emerging R&B/soul crooner has dropped a new song titled “Love Ain’t Enough.”
Produced by Benny Cassette and PRGRSHN (Progression), the gripping track hears Banks requesting more than love from his significant other.
“I wanna feel your hands all over my body / All I need is more,” he sings. “Said my love ain’t enough / It won’t make your heart stay / My love ain’t enough / It won’t keep your heart at bay.”
For his debut album, Banks has recruited Bibi Bourelly, NANA and Seinabo Sey. Village will include previously released tracks “Chainsmoking,” “Unknown” and “Be Good to Me.” Banks premiered a chilling visual for the latter track in September.
On November 24, Banks will launch the European leg of his Village Tour in The Netherlands, with additional stops in Sweden, Ireland, France, and England, before concluding in Switzerland. Tickets are available at mrjacobbanks.com.
