After many infamous delays, Jeremih and Ty Dolla $ign finally bring the world their collaborative album, MihTy.
The 11-track joint project, which was spearheaded by Hitmaka (formerly known as Yung Berg), features previously released records “Goin Thru Some Thangz,” “New Level” with Lil’ Wayne and “The Light.” The duo performed the latter track on Jimmy Kimmel Live! earlier this week.
Along with Lil’ Wayne, Jeremih and Ty Dolla $ign enlisted Chris Brown, French Montana and Wiz Khalifa for other MihTy songs. For the production, Ayo N Keyz, Dre Moon, Retro Future, OG Parker, Tee Romano, Slikk Muzik and more lent their production creative magic.
MihTy isn’t the duo’s first time working together. Jeremih recruited Ty’s help on “Impatient,” for his Late Nights album. Ty$ tapped Thumpy Johnson for “Dawsin’s Breek,” which was from his 2017 album, Beach House 3. The LP received deluxe edition status in May.
As MihTy gets consumed worldwide, Ty will be putting the finishing touches on another joint album; this time with Kanye West. Meanwhile, Jeremih is keeping his head underwater as he recoils from his earlier drama with Teyana Taylor.
