A new breed of music is coming from DAWN in 2019. The R&B siren has revealed plans to drop her first album since 2016’s Redemption.
Scheduled to arrive on January 25, 2019, new breed is a record spearheaded mostly by DAWN herself. The electro-R&B singer will receive creative support on the forthcoming LP from Hudson Mohawke, Cole M.G.N., and Kaveh Rastegar.
The New Orleans-inspired effort includes her summer track “jealous” and her newly shared title track, which accompanies the pre-order link. DAWN shared on Twitter that new breed is “a new project about what it means to be a ninth ward girl from Jonlee [Drive] before all the industry shit.”
DAWN is currently living her best life on tour with Danity Kane.
