It’s been a few years since we last heard from Paula Campbell but the Baltimore native is back with her brand new single “Good Without You.”
The powerful ballad finds Campbell moving on from an ex who didn’t love her like he was supposed to. “Gave all I had / Cause I was all about you / You gave me less / Ooh, when I was all in for you / Can’t pull me back / I’m so good without you,” she sings on the kiss-off record.
Known as the “First Lady of Baltimore,” Campbell is a singer/songwriter most noted in the city for her hit song, “How Does It Feel?” which held the number one spot on urban mainstream radio for eight weeks. She is also the voice of the Oscar-winning song, “It’s Hard Out Here For A Pimp.”
