T-Pain’s sixth studio album is on its way. The Grammy-winning artist recently announced the news on his Instagram Live.
Titled One Up, the new project is scheduled to arrive in March 2019, with a new single set to drop in the coming weeks. The majority of the album will feature production by Bishop Jones, who has worked with T-Pain in the past.
In the same live post, T-Pain talked about how he has a different mindset this time around. “While I’ve been making this album, I’ve actually been happy,” he confessed. “That is very, very important.”
Before the album drops, Pain will released Everything Must Go, Vol. 3. The mixtape is composed of unreleased tracks he recorded over the years. He hinted at the possibility of the tracks on the mixtape getting its own music video.
One Up will follow T-Pain’s 2017 album, Oblivion, which was his last LP to release under RCA Records. The album debuted at No. 155 on the Billboard 200.
