Jennifer Hudson delivered a stirring performance of her uplifting anthem “I’ll Fight” on Tuesday night (Dec. 11), during the semi-finals of NBC’s The Voice.
Sporting an all-black look, with a t-shirt that read “nevertheless, she persisted,” the commanding singer took the audience to church with her empowering track. Towards the end of the performance, she was joined by a multitude of women of all races that drove the powerful message home.
The compelling tune, which serves as the CNN Films RBG documentary theme song, recently scored a Best Song nomination at the 2019 Critics Choice Awards.
