As promised, The-Dream has released his three-part album Sextape Vol. 1, 2, 3. via RadioKilla Records/Hitco Entertainment.
The 38-track project, which runs over 2.5 hours, is nothing but solid bedroom bangers — and there are no features. “My goal with the start of this series is to liberate the lives of those who seek love, lust and honesty,” The-Dream said in a press release. “This is me and my lover’s ongoing diary – truly an unapologetic treat to the world of R&B.”
The goal of the project is “to let people into the charisma of his world, telling tales of lavish lifestyle experiences that entice desire, invoking the nature of adulthood and promoting freedom and independence in whichever way you chose to explore as a listener — all while creating quality music that defies trend and shifts R&B culture.”
Sextape follows The-Dream’s 2014 album, IV Play, which was loaded with features from Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, JAY Z, Gary Clark Jr. and many others.
To support his new album, he will kick off his eight-city Sextape Tour on February 10 in Seattle.
