Nearly eight years have passed since Carl Thomas’ last album Conquer, but the R&B veteran is back with a new record and video.
“One with Heaven,” is a sweet tune that finds Thomas vocalizing about a paradise where only love exists. His yielding notes are inviting, making the visit to this dreamland an ideal getaway to find true love and happiness.
For the nature-loving visual, Thomas is seen in a secluded setting singing the beautiful lyrics. He adds a fitting tribute to Kim “Lady KP” Porter before the frame ends.
Back in 2013, Thomas revealed to Rated R&B that he was working on an all-ballads album titled After Midnight. He also told us that he has reunited with Faith Evans to create an R&B classics duets album. Both projects have yet to come to fruition.
