Emerging singer Sydney Sam has released an ethereal new track titled “Dream.”
Showcasing her upper register in a pleasant light, Sam takes listeners on a three-minute experience to infinity and beyond. As the title suggests, the song feels eerily similar to a dream. The beginning features a slow building to a luscious melody that sounds like a collection of angels harmonizing in tandem. Lyrically, Sam zeroes in on the fantastical elements of love that can often spellbind people.
“Dream” is the New Orlean native’s third piece of new music since her Rosewood EP in 2018. She previously dropped “Missed Calls,” a scorned summation of Sam’s experience with a dirtbag.
Going forward into 2019, Sam wants to keep progressing. “I want to grow as an artist with my music. I want to grow more as a person. I want to be happy,” she shared to Baltisoul’s Anna Bianca.
