The first round of 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards performers has been announced. Alicia Keys will lend her soulful voice to the sixth annual award ceremony. The multi-awarded superstar is expected to premiere her new song, “Raise a Man.”
Along with a special performance, Keys will be bestowed the 2019 iHeartRadio Innovator Award. This honor will spotlight Keys for her “unparalleled contributions to pop culture and social causes as an artist, songwriter, producer, entrepreneur and activist.”
John Legend will likely perform his powerful new anthem “Preach,” while Ariana Grande, Garth Brooks, Kacey Musgraves, and Halsey will also perform new music.
A number of award winners will be decided by social voting, which ends on March 7. The 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards will take place live on Thursday, March 14 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Fox at 8 p.m. EST/PST. The two-hour show will also be broadcast live on iHeartMedia radio stations nationwide and iHeartRadio.
