After winning our hearts on 2017’s “Over You,” Bria Jhane returns with her brand new single titled “Back Bone” via Interscope Records/RadioKilla Records.
The sultry tune finds Jhane in need of a special type of love that can only be found in between the sheets.
“I need that oooh, oh-oh back bone love / Well, baby hurry up before I change my mind / Catch me baby in the nick of time / I choose you, don’t let me down,” Jhane sings on the midtempo bedroom groove.
Jhane continues to tell her partner exactly what she wants, “‘Cause I’m not your mother / You’re not my father / Searching for that love story / Please, don’t bother / I need it now like love needs February.”
“Back Bone” is a pleasurable song that effectively showcases Jhane’s soulful vocals over a simplified production.
The Houston native will join her mentor The-Dream for the remainder of his tour dates this week, including D.C., New York and Chicago.
