Queen Naija‘s chart fate on urban adult contemporary radio is in good hands, thanks to her latest single “Karma.”
The record has risen five places to a new peak at No. 10, according to the current Mediabase tracking week. The increase in airplay performance has earned Naija her second top 10 single on urban AC radio.
Before we capped 2018, the YouTube sensation topped the radio format with “Medicine.” The kiss-off track, which appears on her self-titled project, resulted in Naija’s securing her very first number one song on the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart. Naija could have the same winning “Karma” on the Billboard airplay chart as the track nears the top 10 at No. 13 this week.
Naija has been under the radar since welcoming her new baby boy Renzo in January. Leading up to her son’s arrival, Naija released a devotional titled “War Cry” and wrapped her Birth of Queen Naija Tour.
On April 27, Naija will perform at the second annual Sol Blume Festival in Sacramento.
