Jazzy Amra is one of the new breeds of artists to come out of The Bronx. After releasing her single “You Got Me,” the R&B newbie makes her presence felt with Amra, her debut project.
Executive produced by mentor Wyclef Jean, the seven-track release is a concise introduction to who she is a woman and as a budding artist. The work ranges from introspective acoustic reflections to nostalgic jams that are guaranteed to make you bounce.
In discussing her album with Billboard, Amra shared, “My inspiration while writing and recording my album was my everyday life. Through the music, I wanted people to get to know me and see the truth about what I have gone through. Good and bad.”
