Summer Walker is unstoppable. After releasing her CLEAR EP and announcing spring tour dates, the LVRN signee made her first late-night television performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Thursday night.
In modest form, Walker, who is dressed in a dark hoodie and sweatpants, opened her acoustic set with fan-favorite “Session 32.” Putting down her guitar, Walker sat at a mirror on the bedroom stage setup and serenaded the audience with her Last Day of Summer track, “Girls Need Love.”
Speaking of this authentic record, Trevor Jackson just flipped the song to bring up double standards men have to deal with — just like Walker brings up double standards against women.
As one of Rated R&B’s nine artists to watch in 2019, Walker’s future continues to shine brightly. On top of her Girls Need Love Tour, she can be seen at the 2019 Sol Blume Festival in April.
