Tank can add another top 10 single to his career mantle. “Dirty,” the lead single off his Elevation album, has ascended from No. 11 to No. 10 on urban adult contemporary radio, according to the current Mediabase tracking week. The bedroom banger is up nearly 15 percent in airplay from last week, collecting his eighth top 10 single on urban AC radio.
The sensual track could have the same results as “When We,” his first platinum single. The steamy single ruled the contemporary R&B radio format back in 2017, which helped the tune control the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart for 11 strong weeks. His achievement transitioned to mainstream R&B, landing him a top 10 (No. 7) on urban radio. “When We” also earned the R&B General a top five (No. 5) hit on the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.
Tank’s album Elevation is slated to arrive later this spring. It will serve as the follow-up to his Savage 2017 album.
