Who knew Angie Stone dabbled in paleontology? On her soulful new single “Dinosaur,” the R&B veteran drops some valuable gems to women who keep digging up old love bones.
Stone warns women to tread lightly when meddling through skeletons in the closet because she knows the findings are “going to hurt.”
“Dinosaur” is the first sign of a new album from Stone. In February, she teased a duet with Jaheim called “Gonna Have to Be You.” The song has yet to be released.
Stone released her last album, Dream, in 2015 via Shanachie Entertainment and its partnership with Conjunction Entertainment and TopNotch Music. A year later, Stone delivered another project, Covered in Soul. The LP featured renditions of classics by Stevie Wonder and Neil Diamond.
