Two years after releasing his upbeat tune “Kisses,” B. Smyth has returned with a brand new single titled “Too Many Reasons.”
The vibey track is a mood in many ways. Lyrically, “Too Many Times” recounts the tumultuous times in a relationship that can range from infidelity and lies. Though, as with many relationships, complacency breeds a sense of comfort that keeps toxic couples together.
It’s only fitting that B. Smyth would release a matching visual to flip that concept on its head. In the video, the Florida native is in his element as he showcases multiple facets of his overall talent. Even in the midst of getting his clothes thrown at him, Smyth keeps a straight face. In other sequences, he dances and gets jiggy around a luxury car. The best part of the ironic video is how playful it reads despite the scathing content of the track.
Although he’s not putting much promotion behind “Too Many Reasons,” Smyth continues to advocate for his recent collaboration with rapper
While he’s not promoting the new single, B. Smyth continues to advocate for his collaboration with rapper LightSkinKeisha titled, “Ride Good.” The record has peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart.
