Emerging crooner Jon Vinyl has no problem putting in that “Work” on his latest single.
Behind a simplistic beat with an understated guitar and a light dose of bass, Vinyl vocalizes the never-ending cycle of hard work. Instead of rehashing common R&B themes like heartbreak and love, he opts for an empowering song that elevates the mind and the beauty of the grind.
Despite being at an early stage in his career, Vinyl has been making serious traction. After having his track “Nostalgia” discovered by pop star and his high school friend Shawn Mendes, he continued releasing compelling songs like “Life,” “Cherry Blossom,” and “Star-Crossed.”
Going forward, Vinyl recently revealed on Instagram that he wrote two acoustic songs that he can’t wait to share with the world. And judging from “Work,” we’re ready to indulge.
