Lucky Daye is the next big thing. His smooth jam “Roll Some Mo” has moved from No. 11 to No. 9 on urban adult contemporary radio, according to the current Mediabase tracking week. The recent performance shift marks Daye’s first top 10 record on an airplay chart.
On the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart this week, “Roll Some Mo” is resting at No. 12 for a second week. Though, this week’s urban AC airplay gain could result in the song moving upward on the Billboard chart in the coming weeks.
“Roll Some Mo” appears on Daye’s debut EP I, which he released in November 2018. The EP landed a spot on Rated R&B’s top 25 R&B projects of 2018.
In February, Daye released a second installment of the EP titled II.
Daye is working on his forthcoming debut album, Painted, in between touring the nation with Ella Mai on her Debut Tour.
