Almost a year after returning brightly with “Wonderful Star,” Rahsaan Patterson is back with a new song titled “Sent from Heaven.”
Fueled by a horn-filled framework, the R&B veteran conveys a heartfelt message to his special lover who came to him with a radiant halo. His shift between his sweet and smooth tones, as well as his glorious vocal range, compliment his sincere feelings well.
“Sent from Heaven” is the first offering from Patterson’s forthcoming album Heroes and Gods. Scheduled to arrive on May 17 via Shanachie Entertainment, the new body of work will mark his first album since 2011’s Bleuphoria.
“I have always felt my path is my path,” shared Patterson in a statement. “When everything is aligned, that is when it will be my time to shine brighter.”
After 35 years in the industry, Patterson plans to use his dynamic voice and brilliant production choices to further cement his place in music.
