If anyone knows how to bring their music to life in the form of video, it’s VanJess. The R&B duo has released a visual for their latest single “Honeywheat.”
Directed by Alexandra Gavillet, the avant-garde clip shows how beauty comes in different shades and shapes. The video features a diverse group of minority women, including VanJess, draped in silk outfits as they use movement to express their femininity. In VanJess style, the two sisters also perform interpretive dance.
“Honeywheat” is lifted from VanJess’ debut album, Silk Canvas, which appeared on Rated R&B’s 25 Best R&B Projects 0f 2018 list.
