Just a few weeks after releasing He’s Not Mine (part one of her double album), Etta Bond follows up with He’s Mine. The nine-track project includes guest appearances from A2 (“Surface”) and SiR (“More Than a Lover”).
While He’s Not Mine focused on empty lust, He’s Mine finds Bond being embraced by love from the right person. The journey to get there wasn’t easy, though. Bond realizes that she had to find happiness within before attracting the man of her dreams.
“The first half is kind of like therapy, the second half was more like enjoyment, which are the two reasons I make music,” says Bond, when contrasting the two-part album.
This month, Bond will wrap up her European tour, which kicked off in March. Her upcoming stops include Manchester, Dublin and London, to name a few.
