Jacob Latimore Connection 2

Jacob Latimore is starting the weekend off with some good news. Almost two years after releasing his debut album Connection, the R&B gent has announced his plans to release a sequel.

The new album, Connection 2, will arrive on April 26 via FTE / Jacob’s Ink, Inc. and will feature the lead single “Come Over Here” and “Is That What You Wanna Hear.” For the LP, Latimore has recruited emerging stars Trevor Jackson, Serayah, Lxrd Rossi, and Q Money, who appears on his brand new track “Mine.”

The eye-opening record finds Latimore revisiting the downfall of an old relationship where his assumed bae slept around on him with a homie. Now, that his trust is lost in women, he firmly proclaims that he will never “ignore all the signs” again. Q Money rides the saucy beat, flexing that he put his old girl on her first flight.

Latimore and Q Money also released a dope music video to accompany “Mine” today.

It was announced recently that his upcoming film Gully is heading to the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival. The film event is scheduled to take place from April 24 to May 5 in New York City.

Before making his Tribeca Film Festival debut, Latimore can be seen on season two of Showtime’s The Chi. The television drama is slated to premiere on Sunday, April 7.
