Jacob Latimore is looking for a girl without a busy social calendar on his latest single “Come Over Here.”
Backed by stiff piano notes and an enticing beat, Latimore pleads in a warm and welcoming tone with his lady to put her plans on the back burner to spend time with him. He also requests her to be honest with him about her deepest feelings.
Shortly after premiering the new track, Latimore released a corresponding video. The Luieville and Company-directed clip follows a blossoming relationship between Latimore and his love interest. It starts with them as kids, exchanging ice cream bars and playing hide-and-seek. Fast-forwarding to their adult lives, the two are still going strong. However, a tragic event occurs that might cause viewers to reevaluate how much time they spend with their loved ones.
At this time, “Come Over Here” isn’t attached to a future project. The Big Fruit-produced cut follows his 2017 release “Is That What You Wanna Here.”
On the acting tip, Latimore is making major moves. His Showtime series The Chi earned a 2019 NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Drama Series. The second season of the television drama is slated to premiere on April 7. Additionally, his upcoming film Gully is set to debut at the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival. The film event is scheduled to take place from April 24 to May 5 in New York City.
