Three years after releasing his debut album, Jacob Latimore returns with the sequel, Connection 2.
For the album, Latimore enlisted Trevor Jackson, Serayah, Q Money and Lxrd Rossi to contribute their talents.
Latimore opens the 40-minute LP with “Heartbreak Made Me,” an honest track about carrying baggage from a previous relationship. The rest of the album explores Latimore’s journey through healing and making new connections in his love life.
On May 2, Latimore will kick off his Connection Tour in New York with special guests Project 2one5. Latimore will hit other major cities across the U.S. including Los Angeles, Chicago and Atlanta. Each tour stop will include special appearances from different artists including Tiffany Evans, Algee Smith, Garren and more.
Aside from music, the 22-year-old entertainer currently stars in Showtime’s coming-of-age drama series, The Chi.
His latest feature film, Gully, will premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 27. Set in a dystopian Los Angeles, Gully focuses on three best friends—Calvin (Jacob Latimore), Nicky (Charlie Plummer) and Jesse (Kelvin Harrison Jr.)—who struggle to survive in the bleak and alien environment.
