It’s been a long journey but Jacob Latimore’s debut album, Connection, is finally here. The album consists of 11 tracks including “Climb,” “Remember Me,” “Mutual” and “The Real” featuring IshDARR.
Latimore recently spoke to ABC Radio where he dished on the influence behind the sound of Connection.
“R&B music being the foundation of where I am and who I’m influenced by, I definitely wanted my first album to sort of mirror that,” Latimore said.
He also added that he wanted Connection to sound contemporary too. “On this project I really went with the R&B sound, but it still kind of got some of those hip-hop elements to it because hip-hop and R&B are sort of messed together now,” he said.
