BJ the Chicago Kid can see the hate through his designer frames on his new single “Worryin’ Bout Me” featuring rapper Offset.
Singing directly to those waiting for his downfall, BJ rubs his wealth and his good life in their faces and advises them to “either love” him or stay in their lane.
Offset keeps the same energy, telling his ill-wishers “don’t worry ‘bout me, ‘cause God got me.”
“Worryin’ Bout Me” is the second offering from BJ’s forthcoming album 1123, which is slated to arrive this summer. He released “Time Today” as his lead single back in April.
BJ has been working on 1123, the follow-up to 2016’s In My Mind, for quite some now. His studio sessions with Cool and Dre, Danja, and Jarius Mozee are expected to make the album that he describes as a “celebratory moment.”
“There are so many details, nooks and crannies to this album that people will enjoy,” BJ told Billboard in a recent interview.
