BJ the Chicago Kid‘s got “Time Today” on his new single.
This sensual make-out special paints a vivid picture of the lovemaking that the R&B gent wants to put down on his brown suga mama. BJ’s libidinous lines paired with his tender riffs and runs are bound to set the mood at any time of the day – at least in his eyes.
“Time Today” serves as the lead single for 1123, BJ’s much-anticipated follow-up to 2016’s Grammy-nominated, In My Mind. Working with far-out creatives Cool and Dre, Danja, and Jarius Mozee, the talented musician mentioned that his next album is “incredible” and showcases his evolution.
“I’ve grown. I’ve evolved. Life has evolved for me. I’ve grown and seen the world with my label Motown Records. It’s been an incredible asset to add to the music. I just can’t wait to put it out the right way,” dished BJ to Rated R&B on his album overview.
In the interim period of “Time Today,” BJ rode the wave of Ella Mai (“Close”) and H.E.R. (“Could’ve Been”) by reimagining their hit records.
