Chris Brown is excited to share his new album, Indigo. In anticipation for his ninth LP, the global entertainer has revealed the artwork for the double cover album.
Uploaded on his social media platforms on Wednesday, the face of the album features Brown in the center rocking a wild, purple hairdo while fictional creatures and spaceships swarm over his head. On the second shot, a being presumed to Brown is lifted from the ground as radiant energy from a pyramid surrounds him.
In addition to sharing the artwork, Brown provided an update on the official release date for Indigo. While he is still holding firm to his June 21 date that he revealed at his 30th birthday celebration, he announces June 28 as an alternative date for any “possible delays.”
As previously reported, Brown’s forthcoming LP will include 30 songs to coincide with his age. The all-star album is set to hear from the likes of Tory Lanez, H.E.R., Tank, Juvenile, Lil’ Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, and G-Eazy. The latter pair are featured on his latest bop “Wobble Up.”
Since the Indigo rollout began, Brown has released two other singles, including “Undecided” and “Back to Love.”
Brown is expected to perform his new and old hits at the Tycoon Music Festival on June 8 in Atlanta.
