Shortly after delivering her self-titled EP, Dinah Jane returns with a brand new single titled “Retrograde.” The J.R. Rotem-produced club banger comes just in time for the warm weather.
Over a twerk-friendly beat, the former Fifth Harmony member reflects on a past relationship and decides she wants to rekindle the fire.
“I’m still friends with your mama / You know I love her / Don’t you go making it awkward /I’m coming over /She invite me to the cookout / You know I’m gonna go,” she sings in the first verse.
Jane previewed the song live for the first time in December 2018, during her performance at B96’s Jingle Bash in Chicago.
