According to Sebastian Mikael’s “Time” video, the way to a woman’s heart is through her stomach.
In his dreamy Nathan R. Smith-directed video, the charismatic crooner invites his leading lady to his bachelor pad for a night of good food and intimate vibes that don’t involve lovemaking. His drifting vocals set the scenery for their engaging attraction for one another.
“‘Time’ is a R&B gem,” he told Billboard about his latest track. “It’s different from the rest of the EP. I went for a ’90s R&B baby-making anthem. The video is a celebration of black love. I wanted it to look like a flashback or a dream.”
The seductive number appears on his I C U U C ME Pt. II, the sequel to his December EP, I C U U C ME.
“I C U U C ME PART II was a bit of an emotional roller coaster,” Mikael told Rated R&B. “It was a very personal project. When I write songs it has to be personal and honest. It becomes a very therapeutic process.”
