Shay Lia throws caution to the wind on her daring new single “Voodoo” featuring Buddy.
Backed by a clarinet loop, the spellbinding collaboration finds Lia putting her love fate in black art. Luckily, her rap Buddy steps in and insists he can “be the one” to adore her “through complications.”
“Voodoo” follows her “Dangerous” lead single off her forthcoming EP. Slated to arrive later this year, Lia describes the project as “something different and fresh.”
Both new songs come behind her intimate song “Feels,” which she premiered in January.
Last Friday (May 10), Lia wrapped up a set at this year’s Canadian Music Week (CMW) in Toronto.
