Seventeen years after releasing their sophomore album, Blaque Out, R&B group Blaque returns with their junior effort, Torch. The album arrives exactly 20 years after their self-titled debut album, which spawned hits like “Bring It All To Me,” “808” and “I Do.”
Originally set to release in 2003, Torch features collaborations with Missy Elliott and Timbaland. It also features vocals from Natina Reed, who was killed in 2012 in a hit-and-run accident in Atlanta.
Speaking on the new project, current members Shamari Fears and Brani Williams said in a statement, “The fans asked and we delivered. Torch is our most requested fan album and we thank everyone for their continued support and patience.”
