Marco McKinnis is definitely one to keep your ears and eyes on. The emerging singer performed his new song “Give It Up” for the COLORS series, bringing a smooth and mellow energy.
Originally from Hampton, Virginia, McKinnis automatically transports listeners to a familiar place with his nostalgic tone and velvety vocals. Adorned in a headwrap and draped in a black loose-fitting suit, his emotive and enticing performance supplements his laid back, artsy look.
He revealed on Twitter that “Give It Up” will be featured on his upcoming EP E-Merse, which will be released on June 14. “Yo every song I’m finna drop on June 14th is a bop. I put that on me,” McKinnis confidently declared on social media.
He recently shared ‘Deep‘ last week and will most likely be on his sophomore project. In August 2018, he released his debut EP Underground, putting him on the radar of industry peers and R&B lovers alike.
