With his Indigo album set to release on Friday (June 28), Chris Brown shares a new track called “Don’t Check On Me.” Featuring guest vocals from Justin Bieber and Ink, the acoustic-driven tune sees Brown moving on from a past relationship and not wanting to be bothered by his ex.
“Don’t check on me if we’re not together/ And it’s probably for a reason / Every heartbreak has its season / It ain’t always summer in June,” Brown bluntly sings on the chorus with assistance from Ink.
“Don’t Check On Me” is the sixth track to be released as part of Brown’s album rollout campaign. The Ink and Sheldon Ferguson-produced tune is the follow-up to “Undecided,” “Back to Love,” “Wobble Up” featuring Nicki Minaj and G-Eazy, “Heat” featuring Gunna and “No Guidance” featuring Drake. The latter track made a major impact on the Billboard Hot 100, debuting at No. 9 on the prestige chart.
On August 20, Brown will kick off his INDIGOAT Tour with special guests Ty Dolla $ign, Tory Lanez, Joyner Lucas and Yella Beezy. The 38-city North American leg will wrap up on October 19 in California.
