H.E.R. and YBN Cordae have great chemistry. On the heels of their powerful BET Awards performance, the two influential acts release a new single titled “Racks.”
The storyline of this refreshing track features H.E.R. and YBN Cordae exposing the truths of having endless amounts of money at one’s disposable, but feeling empty from unhappiness and left alone with no one around to love you.
“Married to the mullah / Still ain’t got no lover / Looking, all I see is green / Wonder can you buy me these,” H.E.R. sings on the opening verse.
At the moment, it’s not clear if “Racks” is lifted from a new H.E.R. EP or her debut album. Nonetheless, we’re pleased with their materialistic collaboration.
“Racks” arrives a week before H.E.R. is set to perform at the 2019 Essence Music Festival. She is taking her talents to the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Festival and her self-curated Lights On Festival in September.
