Don’t mess with BJ the Chicago Kid’s girl because he will give you the business. The Chicago crooner has released the video for his song “Time Today” off his sophomore album, 1123.
Directed by Child (Elle Varner, Lucky Daye), the colorful and vibrant video is shot in Brooklyn, New York, providing a modern day setting with the essence of the 1960s. It opens with BJ enjoying quality time with his leading lady, played by media personality Scottie Beam. They indulge in some spirits at their quaint and cozy home before they make their way to a blue hued bar. Towards the end of the video, BJ is performing at a lounge and things get a little heated.
BJ will have all the time to sing his new album across the country on The 1123 Tour. Kicking things off in Vancouver on September 21, he’ll close in his hometown Chicago on November 30. Tickets are available on his official website.
