Q Parker of 112 is making major moves. The R&B veteran has signed a record deal with Entertainment One Nashville. He joins other vocalists on the roster including Syleena Johnson (who just recently inked a deal), Jonathan McReynolds and Shirley Caesar, to name a few.
In addition to this news, Parker has also announced his new album The Bridge Project will arrive this fall. The special album is described as a compilation project that will feature collaborations between himself and “notable mainstream and gospel music artists.”
“I am extremely excited for this new venture with eOne and Nashville label VP/GM Gina Miller,” Parker said in a press statement. “This team has unmatched synergy with my team. They understand the Q Parker brand and musical direction with intentional purpose! I look forward to sharing new music soon with my fans!”
Gina Miller, vice president/general manager of Entertainment One Nashville, added, “We are proud that we have created a space and home for artists and writers that create great music that consumers would identify with, would want, and would appreciate in a significant way. In this case, Q Parker is an exceptional writer and an extraordinary artist. The Bridge Project reflects Q’s heart, vision, creativity and reach. I am honored that we will be a part of a project that will unite and uplift, as well as inspire and impact culture.”
The Bridge Project will serve as Parker’s first official album since 2012’s The MANual.
