Dvsn Drops Two New Songs: ‘Miss Me?’ and ‘In Between’

Dvsn, one of Toronto’s most innovative R&B duos, is back on our radar with not one, but two new songs.

“Miss Me?” is a succinct selection that finds Daniel Daley, the duo’s vocalist, cooing to a former lover about changing for the better. He ultimately wants to know if she’s in a different head space to take him back.

“Tell me do you miss me? Like I be missing you,” Daley sings over the rattling backdrop.

Daley continues to be vulnerable on “In Between,” produced by dvsn’s Ninteen85. The sweet ballad features Daley flexing his tender vocals as he explores the needless tension between him and his lady that causes a riff in their communication.

Both tracks are the first sign of new music from Dvsn since their sophomore album Morning After in 2017. The duo did unleash the music video for the album’s title track last summer, but still, they have kept a low profile.

On August 3 dvsn will play at the 2019 Summer Spirit Festival alongside Jhene Aiko, Raphael Saadiq, Anthony Hamilton, PJ Morton, and more. This set will mark their first show since Coachella in April.
