Johnny Gill has another album up his sleeve. The R&B veteran has announced Game Changer II, the sequel to his 2014 album, is out September 6 via J Skillz Records/Kavalry Records, LLC.
Game Changer II, Gill’s eighth studio album, will contain 11 songs, including his number one hit “Soul of a Woman” and his newly released single that’s out today titled “Perfect” featuring Ralph Tresvant (of New Edition).
In addition to Tresvant, Shelia E., Carlos Santana, and Kevon Edmonds (of After 7) are also on board as guest features for the new LP.
As mentioned above, “Perfect,” a well-crafted love song, is Gill’s latest single off Game Changer II. After an iHeartRadio world premiere last week, the record is already a top 40 hit on urban adult contemporary radio. The song will officially impact this format on August 20.
Gill’s last album spawned five-successful singles on Billboard and urban AC radio, including “Behind Closed Doors” and “This One’s for Me and You.”
