Second chances aren’t always the best idea.
Sinéad Harnett will be the first to tell you on her new single, “Pulling Away” featuring Gallant. The emerging singer-songwriter from London lays her heart on the line in every song — and this one is no different. On “Pulling Away,” she wants to continue things with a former lover but the back and forth isn’t enough for her to end things.
Gallant starts the track off but Sinéad follows up on the second verse singing, “You were like a fresh start / A blank canvas, thought I could try again / Paint it with a new brush, a better color / But you were just the same / If you could only listen to my body / You’d pull me closer but she’s in your mind.”
“Pulling Away” will appear on Harnett’s debut album, Lessons in Love, which releases on September 20 via Bad Music.
