Spread the word that Emmavie’s debut album Honeymoon is out now. The 13-track project features all four tracks from her Stop the Tape EP. The self-curated release also includes a guest spot from Ego Ella May.
Emmavie describes Honeymoon as an “intense, sensual” album that is “all about new discovery.”
“The concept of the album was for me to introduce my sound and style to the world,” she wrote on Instagram. “I experimented, dancing around genres, taking my influences from jazz, drum n bass, footwork, rock and more, and took an unorthodox, often juvenile, approach to beat making. Like the early stages of a relationship, I was still figuring out how I wanted to sonically express myself to you. I wanted to open up, finally, and impress you. This, by far, was the most fun I’ve ever had making songs.”
