Berhana keeps the new music coming. After scarfing down “Health Food” on his August release, the fledgling artist takes a passionate puff of a “Lucky Strike” on his latest track.
Coated in cosmic rhythms and languid tones, Berhana laces this burning funk groove with details about a complicated love story. He wrestles with his emotions after the ashes of this rocky romance start to fall.
“Lucky Strike” is the second helping from his forthcoming album due this fall. The finished record, which will be released on EQT Recordings, relies on production support from Canadian hitmaker Pomo (Anderson .Paak, Mac Miller).
The new full-length effort will mark Berhana’s first project since his 2016 self-titled set.
