Emerging British singer J Warner is looking for extra time in the bedroom on his latest single “Stay for a While.”
“[The song] was inspired by a lustful experience I had a few years ago,” Warner tells Rated R&B. “At the time, I didn’t think it was that deep, but it surfaced once I heard the demo.
He adds, “With the help of Knox Brown, DJ Dahi and Dan Diggas we made something that we hope transpires.”
“Stay for a While” is lifted from Warner’s upcoming EP, Figure 8, which is slated to release later this year via The Fight Club. It is executive produced by DJ Dahi, (Jazmine Sullivan, Tinashe, Kendrick Lamar).
The title of the project was inspired by Warner’s love for numbers. The number eight symbolizes infinity, which is “the state or quality of being infinite.”
