South London singer-songwriter Jaz Karis makes dealing with a break up look easy in her new video “Fairytales.”

Co-directed by Karis and Kaylum Dennis, the bright and carefree visuals match the energy of the song perfectly.

Karis calls up her good girlfriends to cruise around the neighborhood. Looking effortlessly stylish, they end up at the local carnival to simply have a good time.

“Fairytales” is the follow-up to “Doubt My Love,” which dropped in March. In 2017, she released her debut EP, Into The Wilderness.

In other news, Karis most recently co-wrote “Secrets” on Justine Skye’s new EP, Bare With Me. It is the first songwriting placement of her budding career.

“I am so truly honoured/excited/blessed along with everything else, to say I have my first cut as a songwriter,” she wrote on Instagram.
