K. Michelle takes her music to the streets with her new single “Supa Hood.”
With guest appearances from rappers Kash Doll and Yung Miami of City Girls, the mellow bop finds the three women describing the type of men they like.
K. Michelle admits “Memphis niggas drive me crazy,” while Yung Miami promises, “If he call me and I’m sleep, bitch, I’m wakin’ up.” Kash Doll comes through in the third verse with Instagram-ready captions like, “When bad bitches controls, neck and wrists get froze.”
The song was first teased in August when K. Michelle shared behind-the-scenes footage of the music video on Instagram.
“Honestly, I couldn’t have picked a more SOLID group of ladies,” wrote K. Michelle about enlisting Kash Doll and City Girls for her new single. “No drama, just women bout the music and they business. Thank you for being apart of my new album beautiful ladies!”
“Supa Hood” is the follow-up to K. Michelle’s vulnerable tune “Save Me,” which she labeled as the pre-single. It is expected to appear on the Memphis native’s forthcoming album, All Monsters Are Human.
